This club is geared towards the guys, but available to the ladies, as well. The Silver Fox Club has quite a busy social schedule that will keep you active, engaged and connected with other residents and having a good time.
Encouraging True Bonding Experiences
“Girls just want to have fun,” but guys just want to sit down and enjoy a craft beer over a game of poker. The Silver Fox Club provides gentleman (and ladies, too!) the chance to do just that while escaping the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The Silver Fox Club offers a wide range of on-site activities and off-site excursions. While ladies are certainly welcome to join in, common activities involve poker games, cook-outs, greasy fried foods, and sports talk.
This one-of-a-kind program caters to residents who may feel more comfortable and relaxed in a smaller, more intimate group setting. Since launching the program, we’ve seen an uptick in social engagement and participation.
Clubs that encourage people with common interests and traits to come together are known to promote:
- Increased socialization
- Opportunities for new experiences
- Decreased feelings of loneliness and isolation
- Improved feelings of belonging and self-worth
Monthly activities range from relaxing fishing trips to exciting car shows where classic Corvettes, Camaros, and Mustangs become eye candy. Whether our residents are playing a competitive game of poker or gathered around the TV with a cold one in hand to watch a big game, they’re having a great time.
